Build your pop-it as quickly as you can
Pop It Race is a free puzzle game from ROOTCRAFT where, as the name suggests, you will have to race against time to complete the pop-it that corresponds to your character’s color. Pop-its are a type of fidget toy that typically comes in a variety of bright colors that you can poke to “pop” its bubbles.
Pop It Race employs a lighthearted take on your typical racing games. It’s quite similar to games like Twerk Race 3D and Lumberjack Race, both of which pit you against competitors in a number of wacky settings.
A unique kind of racing game
Players of all ages can enjoy the unique premise of Pop It Race. You will have to pick up bubbles that are scattered around you in order to complete your pop-it. These bubbles come in a number of different colors; you just have to make sure you get the ones that match your own color. While you’re at it, make sure to keep your competitors from completing their own pop-its.
Some of the competitors you will have to go up against will be players from other parts of the world, however, you can also go up against AI-controlled characters, who will still provide an extra challenge for you along the way. This game also makes use of brightly colored 3D graphics paired with wacky physics that can make each round all the more entertaining.
Best of all, the game can be played offline, so you won’t need to connect to the internet in order to enjoy all it has to offer. Other than these, however, there’s not much variety in the gameplay or even the obstacles you have to face in each round. Even with different opponents to face, the process becomes too repetitive over time and can feel quite boring.
Lacks content, but still good for casual playing
While Pop It Race falls short of providing a more dynamic setting, especially when it comes to each round’s goals and obstacles, it’s still a decent choice, especially when considering it as a casual game that you play from time to time. The zany movements and the competitive aspect of the game still provide a good amount of fun that players of varying age ranges can fully enjoy.
